Embers and Ash

Dark and bright red Czech crystals glow between ash grey catseye beads, in spirals of gunmetal black seed beads. 18 inches, all woven by hand.
I've fallen pretty far from my roots of seed bead weaving. And after reorganizing and cleaning up my supply bins last season, I still can't find my collection of beading thread. I did find a TON of seed beads, so I'll have new gear made eventually :-)

A light piece of turquoise colored howlite, wire wrapped, hangs from a chain of Czech glass beads in greens, blues, and browns. Also includes bronze pressed glass leaves and findings. The necklace is 17 inches long with a lobster clasp, and the pendant adds 2 inches.
Howlite works with the fifth chakra, at the base of the throat, which corresponds with communication and expression. It is also said to relieve stress and anxiety, calming the mind. Thus it would be excellent to wear at a job interview ;-)

Treasuries are a lot easier to put together now than when Etsy first launched them. Didn't they used to only have a limited number of slots available?
I'll probably make a few more before long. Its refreshing to hawk someone else's work instead of my own. Comment with a link to your Etsy shop if you'd like me to consider your work for future Treasuries ;-)
