A nicely speckled piece of tumbled aventurine, wire wrapped by hand into a fine pendant, hangs from a chain of bronze colored pressed glass, dark green Czech glass, and more aventurine beads. The chain is 18 inches long, with a lobster clasp, and the pendant adds 2 inches.
Aventurine takes its name from the Italian words "a ventura" meaning "by chance" and is often used for good luck, gambling, and to attract wealth. As a green stone, it corresponds with the heart chakra, wards off anxiety and encourages positive attitudes.
